Tour Itinerary

Day: 01 Transfer to Jaldapara

Upon arrival at NJP/IXB, you will be received by our executive and helped in boarding the awaiting vehicle. Transfer to Jaldapara. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Jaldapara.

Day: 02 Elephant Ride/Jeep Safari

Get up early for an elephant ride or Jeep safari inside Jaldapara forests (Safari self-arranged own cost payable on the spot). After Safari return to your resort for breakfast.

Day visit to Kunjanagar and South Khairbari Leopard Rescue Centre - After breakfast visit Kunjanagar eco-park (here you can see Leopard, crocodiles, and dear) and South Khairbari Leopard Rescue Centre. Overnight at Jaldapara.

Day: 03 Transfer to Jayanti (Buxa Tiger Reserve)

After breakfast checkout and drive to Buxa. The forests of Buxa with an area of 760 sqkms consist of a large variety of animals and birds. Overnight at Jayanti.

Day: 04 Trip to Santalabari

From Jayanti, you will be taken to Santalabari about 15 km away. This is the starting point for treks to Buxa Fort. Depending upon your physical ability you may trek to the fort which is about 4.5 km (about 1.5 hours one way). Overnight at Jayanti.

Optional Trip to Pukurihill: Trek to Pukhuri Hill from Jayanti. It is a 45-minute walk through the Saal forest to the hilltop with a large pond. You must higher a govt. approved guide at Jayanti to visit Pukhuri Hill.

You may also take a Jeep safari from Jayanti which will take you inside the forest to a few watchtowers. The cost of the forest safari is additional and not included in the package.

Day: 05 Morning drive to Gorumara

Check out from Jayanti and drive to Gorumara. Check in at the Hotel. Free Evening.Overnight at Gorumara.

Day: 06 Jeep Safari to Gorumara

Early morning Jeep safari for 2 hrs to Gorumara Watch Tower (Safari Self-arranged at own cost).

Gorumara to Bindu Jhalong Excursion, 55kms in 2.5hrs (One way) – Later drive to Bindu (Alt 4350Ft / 1300M), the last village on the Indo–Bhutan border along the Himalayan foothills. Also, visit Jhalong on the bank of the Jaldhaka River. Back to Lataguri and for a free evening. Overnight at Gorumara.

Day: 07 Transfer to Bagdogra/NJP

Check out from Gorumara and drive to NJP/IXB as per your return schedule. Farewell and tour ends.
